Sir Alex Ferguson praised his no.1 goalkeeper David De Gea after his superb performance against Real Madrid in their Champions League round of 16(1st leg) tie against Real Madrid. De Gea made some heroic saves to deny a win for the home side.
“De Gea has been improving all season and he even got a touch on the shot from Coentrao in the first half when he put it on to the post. He was excellent and made three or four top saves. He was coming back to Madrid after his career with Atletico, so to perform like that against Real.” – Sir Alex
